Dr. Adithya Bharadwaj is considered one of the top physicians in the region. A Critical Care Specialist and Internal Medicine Consultant at Indiana Hospital, Dr. Adithya obtained his MBBS in 2005 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, followed by Diplomate of National Board (DNB) – Internal Medicine from Southern Railway Hospital, Chennai. To add more skills to his professional kitty, he did his Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and capped it with MRCP (UK), MRCP (Lon) from the Royal College of Physicians, London. Thereafter, he joined Apollo Hospitals, Chennai as a Consultant, as a part of Chennai Critical Care Consultants Group. He has also worked as a consultant in InteleICU – a Chennai based Tele-Icu catering to ICUs across the country. His expertise is in Critical Care-Sepsis, Antimicrobials in ICU, Ventilation in patients with ARDS and Diabetes Melitus. He’s working at Indiana Hospital for the past 6 years. Besides being the main Consultant Physician, Dr. Adithya is also the Chief Intensivist in charge of the Hospital’s Critical Care unit which has a 12-bedded Medical ICU, 5-bedded High Dependency Unit (HDU) and a separate Isolation Room for Respiratory/Contact isolation. The unit handles all types of critical areas — cardiology, neurology, poly trauma/head injury, sepsis/multi organ failure — ARDS.
